Special Town Election July 11, 2017 from Noon to 7:30 pm at Ashby Elementary School.

June 21, 2017 is the last day to register to vote in the Special Town Election on Tuesday, July 11th. Town Clerk's Office will be open June 21st from 8am-8pm for anyone wishing to register. (There is no need to register to vote if you are already a registered voter in Ashby). You can also register to vote online https://www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr/

Poll Workers Needed for Special Town Election, July 11, 2017

The Town Clerk's office is looking for people to work at the Special Town Election on July 11th. Election workers would work 12-7:30 (half day shifts available) checking in/out voters. Counters would work 7:30pm until all ballots have been tallied. For more information, please contact the Town Clerk's office M-Th 8am-noon, and Wednesdays 5-8pm, 978-386-2424 ext. 10.

Street List:

The new Street List comes out in Spring of each year. It lists persons who are registered voters or are eligible to register to vote during coming the year. New residents do not have to be on the street list in order to register to vote. The price is $3.00 for seniors, $4.00 for residents and $6.00 for non-residents.

Public Records:

The Town of Ashby responds to the right of the public to access public records maintained by the Town in accordance with Mass. General Law Chapter 66. The Town takes this public responsibility seriously and is committed to open government and makes every attempt to respond to requests in a timely manner. Certain records maintained by the Town are not public records and are exempt from public disclosure. More information on public record requests.
