Accessory Dwelling Unit

  • Public Hearing starting at 7:30 pm: Accessory Dwelling Unit

The amendment will replace all instances of Accessory Apartment with Accessory Delling Unit (ADU) and will define ADU as a self-contained housing unit with a separate entrance and is no larger than larger in gross floor area than 1/2 the gross heated floor area of the principal dwelling or 900 square feet, whichever is smaller and will modify subsections of 4.6 Accessory Apartments

Floodplain District & Regulations

  1. Public Hearing starting at 7:15 pm: Floodplain District Boundaries & Regulations

The amendment will delete the current section 9.1 Floodplain District Boundaries and Regulations and replace it in its entirety. The amendment will adopt the Middlesex County Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) dated July 8, 2025 as the Floodplain District and make minimal changes to the regulations to comply with National Flood Insurance regulations.

Amendments to Subdivision Rules & Regulations

The Planning Board will hold a public hearing on August 28, 2024 at 7:15 pm via video conference to hear comment on amendments to the Rules & Regulations Governing the Subdivision of Land.  Proposed amendments address the requirements of the Natural Resource Protection Zoning Bylaw, as was passed by Town Meeting All interested persons may attend the video conference hearing. Written comment will be read into the record. A copy of the proposed Rules & Regulations is available for review at the Office of the Town Clerk during posted business hours. Zoning Bylaw Amendment, Industrial District

March 27, 2024, 7:30 pm on Zoom. Amend the Zoning Bylaw by deleting Section 8 Industrial District and replacing with revised Section 8 Light Industrial District. Hearing notice.
