The Conservation Commission is responsible for administration of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act in Ashby.

Ashby Conservation Commission requires all applications and plans, new submissions or updates to pending applications, include an electronic copy of all pages in a commonly used file format, such as .pdf, .docx, .jpg, in addition to the paper format required by state regulations. The electronic files may be submitted by email or uploaded to the cloud at your Google Drive, DropBox, or similar online account. If you don’t have your own cloud location you can upload them here to the Ashby Conservation Commission’s Google Drive public folder and let us know via email that files have been submitted. All documents, both electronic and hard copy, for continued hearings must be received no later than the Friday prior to the meeting date.

On March 28, 2025 Gov. Healey signed An Act Extending Certain COVID-19 Measures Adopted During the State of Emergency providing an extension allowing pandemic era remote and hybrid meeting options for public bodies through June 2027.
The Ashby Conservation Commission meetings are conducted online via Zoom video and telephone conferencing on our regular 1st & 3rd Tuesday 7:30pm evening schedule. Zoom contact information for meetings is provided in the posted agenda.
